What do beauty products have to do with it?

I am a consultant for Beautycounter; a company that is committed to getting safer personal care products into as many hands as possible. Though Beautycounter has very little to do with ending sugar cravings, it has everything to do with improving health.

There are more than 80,000 chemicals on the market today, many of them in the skin care and beauty (personal care) industry. The EU has banned 1400 chemicals in their beauty products, while the US has only banned 11. Surprisingly, the FDA hasn’t passed any regulation about the safety of ingredients in personal care products since 1938.

Because of my own health issues, I had been looking for a body lotion with no toxic chemicals or formaldehyde (which is a common ingredient in lotion, who knew?).

When I found Beautycounter, I knew I had found what I was looking for. I loved the products and because the company was new, I joined as a consultant. I invite you to check out the site and if you want to clean up what you are putting on your body, give it a try! (Beautycounter has a gracious 60-day return policy; so if you don’t like it, return it!)
